Come Away to the Water - Maroon 5 (Hunger Games Soundtrack cover)
This is our band Dulcet singing Come Away to the Water accapella. Ryan directed the video, and I (Kelly) edited the video. We wanted to make our video show the careers as we sang, because that’s what we imagined whilst listening to it. I hope you enjoy. Please reblog or like this so this gets spread around :)

People have been pissing me off by saying the movie wasn’t “gory” enough. This isn’t a supposed to be a stupid commercialized scary movie like Saw that glorifies violence. It was supposed to be enough to show how messed up the Capitol is, which it did more than enough of that. And Cato breaking that poor tributes’ neck and killing him was more chilling that any gory display could be. Anyways, I think showing less is more because it leaves more to the imagination and makes you think about it more.
I understand violence is the backbone of the Hunger Games and I think Gary Ross handled it perfectly. The quick camera cuts, splashes of blood, and showing the kids after they had been killed was more haunting to me. And it also was filmed so it was as if you were in the arena taking quick glances at the chaos around you.
